Sources: sector shares from the UN National Accounts Main Aggregates Database (value added by economic activity, ISIC groups); GDP and the figures below it from the World Bank World Development Indicators. Each figure uses the most recent year available.

How to play

Each day shows one country's economy: how much of its GDP comes from farming, manufacturing, mining, construction, trade and hotels, transport, finance and government, plus a few figures on exports, resources, remittances, tourism and spending. Guess the country.

You have six guesses. After each one you see the distance to the answer, an arrow pointing toward it, and how close you are as a percentage.

Figures come from the UN and the World Bank, using the latest year each country has reported.
